Amelia Andrews
Amelia Andrews, a board-certified physician assistant, recently joined Atrium Health Navicent Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She is working alongside Dr. Jay Anderson, Dr. Keith Fackler and Dr. Joel Judah who specialize in the treatment of digestive diseases. Atrium Health Navicent Gastroenterology and Hepatology provides diagnosis, medical management and treatment of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, gallbladder, liver and pancreas.
A graduate of Mercer University, Andrews comes to Atrium Health Navicent after spending the last two and a half years as a primary care provider in multiple federally qualified health centers across central Georgia.
She has extensive experience in many aspects of patient care, including physical exams, medical assessment and diagnosis, creation and implementation of care plans and medication prescribing. She finds her work to be very rewarding, particularly helping patients be involved in their care and building relationships with patients and their families.
